"The Rectory", The Lehmann Residence

702 S. East Street

This Late Federal style house was built circa 1835. It is probably the oldest residence on East Street and holds lots of history. For over 150 years it was the home of the the Rectors of St. Stephens Episcopal Church. During the Civil War its stone cellar was a place of refuge for the surrounding town. What surprises await tour goers inside?
