The 2010 Culpeper Historic Tour of Homes

South East Street residents are hosting an Historic Tour of homes in Culpeper on Saturday, December 4 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, rain, snow or shine.

In celebration of the South East Street obtaining National Historical and Virginia Landmark designations, 11 houses will be open for the tour. Various architectural styles will be shown originating from the early 1800's to the beginning of the 20th century. The tour also will include the Museum of Culpeper History and its Burgandine House (reputed to be the oldest dwelling in Culpeper).

Re-enactments and an 18th Century tavern will be open at the Museum of Culpeper History.

Restrooms

Restrooms are available at the Visitor Center at the Depot and at the Museum of Culpeper History. Please note that there are no restroom facilities available at the private homes.
